Hi oxpus,

I am not sure that this is the right forum, I have checked permissions etc. but I am the only one who does not have access to the downloads (the download button does not appear).

Ban admin user after update?

Delete the corresponding entry in the ban list.
This deliberately does not stop at the status of a user and forum founders could also be targeted.

Hi Oxpus,

Updating my board. went from 3.0.8 to current.

Uploaded the download mod and went to enable it but i have this msg in a pop up window. and the extension didnt enable

from which version of the download mod you've updated to the newest extension release?

And please take a look into the server logs and phpbb log for possible error messages.
The ajax error did not be displayed by the extension.

I think i was on 6.4.13 according to the zip file in my store/mods directory.

I updated the board to 3.3 yesterday. i uploaded 8.0.2 to the ext directory but it wont enable.

I did my homework and tried all this on my test board first and it worked no problem.

No errors in the PHPBB logs, i am looking at server. looks like i have to add a line to php.ini to turn error logs on

That's the reason:
You can't upgrade directly the download mod from 6.x to the extension release 7.x or 8.x
Please look here: https://phpbb3.oxpus.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=656 (completely in german) for hints to upgrade the mod tables manually for the extension release.
Or a shorter one https://phpbb3.oxpus.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=649 in english.

Additional you need to update the mod database installation first to the latest release 6.5.33 within the old phpBB release 3.0.x.
After this you can update the release to 7.0.0 and enable the extension in the new board.
There is no other way except to make the changes up to version 7.x manually in the database.
