Hi everybody! I don't found a place for "welcome user" and I make here.
I am admin of a forum for gameboards and arts for game, the name is Rinnegati.

I have install the Download system and work good on my phpbb 3.2.1 (awesome extension), but I have a problem.
I can't setting download permissions user for guests..
When I setting not upload, these same not download and I don't understand solution for this problem..



When I setting here, the guests see this and not found download options or capthca request..


Can you help me?

Hi and welcome here.

Please don't try to set permissions for guests over usergroups.
Select in the ACP permission module the categories you wants to change and after this the first option which is included for all users.
You can can select where which user can see, download, upload and moderate downloads.
At this point you can select each user (included guests), registered users or only selected usergroup members.

Additional to enable downloads for guests please empty the banlist from the extension and check the settings in the general extension configuration module (all in the ACP) on the pages "Protection" and "Limits" (you can select the pages within the drop down at the top right in the general configurations).

I'm so sorry but I don't understand the protection you ask me in the ACP...
I set the exstension in "mode open" for all categories

I don't have add other option now
and my banlist is empty

But when visit the download page, without login, I can't download the files..

Okay and now look into the module "General Configuration" and check all settings for permissions, limits, protections related on guests.
