Hallo Karsten,
bei der erstellung einer neuen Kategorie bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

Seit wann der Fehler vorhanden ist, kann ich nicht sagen. Es ist schon eine geraume Zeit her, dass ich eine neue Kategorie erstellt habe.

Du musst unter dem angegebenen Ordner mindestens einen Unterordner erstellen und diesen dann in der/den Kategorie/n angeben.
Das ist die Mindestvoraussetzung, welche die Extension erwartet, denn der Pfad .../downloads// ist ja definitiv falsch.

Thanks again for the download ext. still working great after all these years.

I am sure i have asked this before but have not done it in quite some time. I thought there was a way to mass upload via FTP and then have the extension load all the files automatically without having to upload one by one. But i can not seem to remember the process. Does it do that? and how?

The extension does not yet support bulk upload for multiple downloads such as e.g. B. via FTP upload.
That would be difficult anyway, because you can specify a lot of informations for each download and then you would have to specify it.

However, you can upload several files via FTP into one of the download folders and integrate these files one by one into a download within the ACP module for the download files.

But this don't let automatically create multiple downloads.

Hello.
I don't know from which update it happens, but the thumbnail images of the downloads do not support transparencies (for example in images in png format). Now the transparency of these images is black. I remember that in previous versions they were seen correctly.

Since version 8.1.5 the extension uses a PHP function to display the thumbnails.
This function does not support transparencies in the form used.

But I'll give this function a try to display transparencies again in the next extension release.

Sorry for the delay, I've been very busy all this time.

I just tested the next prerelease and now the thumbnails with transparencies are working properly again.
