I can see now the /dlext folder in the /files repertory since I switched from FTP to SFTP with FileZilla.
Why?
What is the different while accessing your forum with FTP or SFTP apart securing via SSL?
Maybe the web server has different rights than the FTP / SFTP user?
Then it could also become difficult with the downloads if uploading files via FTP did not mean the same access rights as via SFTP.
The toolbox can only download files if they are triggerd with the right permissions.
Normally you will not be able to download directly any file from the folder files or from existing subfolders directly within a browser link since the release 8.0.0 of the extension.
The download button is part of a formular with the link to /dlext/details:
Code: Alles auswählen
<div id="dl_mod_button">
<form action="/dlext/details" method="post" name="download" id="download" >
This formular will submit the selected download and (if given) the download release to do several checks before at least send the requested physical file to the user client for downloading it.
So please check this form on your page and be sure you are using the right files of the extension package.
This form should not link to /dlext/index/ but only to /dlext/details/ as given in the routing.xml file of the extension.
Maybe you should purge the forum cache as well as the browser cache to be sure to use the right routing data.
And please: Do not test the extension with the Microsoft Internet Explorer. This browser is not longer suitable and is therefore not longer supported.
