another request is:
its possibile rewrite link category title like the download files?

Reformat category links into download category title are possible, sure, but regard that each post currently one sql statement is running to find a download title and a second will be needed to grab the category title.
So sorry no: Another link reformation will not be implemented as a default option into the download extension.

But about integrate the notifications completely into the board notification system lets give me some time to code this. Currently I've to much projects in progress which cannot be interrupted.

After a long time, which I now needs to finish my latest projects and also to understand the notification system of phpBB, I must reject the request.
It needs very much of code changes in the extension, just to use the notification system of phpBB.
This system also disallows to use popups and board header notes which certainly will be disliked by the one or the other board admin.

Sorry, but the effort is too big, as I code this into the extension in my very limited free time ...
